This rotation develops competence to function as a staff hospital pharmacist. This is a 5-week experiential rotation that focuses on provision of clinical pharmacy services in a variety of settings with a focus on care to the elderly population.
These sites may include community pharmacies, speciality clinics, rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities SNFs , home-based consult services, and assisted living facilities ALFs. A focus is placed on the interdisciplinary care of the geriatric patient.
