For the brand, I would've assumed it would've lasted longer. When I first got this 8 months ago I loved it. I have fine hair and needed a hair dryer that blew strong air without needing super high heat.

When I first got this it worked great. My hair dries fast with little to no frizz. Fast forward 8 months later and the motor is going. The air doesn't blow nearly as hard and I'm finding that I have to leave it on sections longer which is damaging my hair. I kept my receipt, box, and all the pieces and I'm hoping to be able to exchange it for something better. I don't know why so many people are saying they had to break it open to clean the back lint trap, or that the grate couldn't be removed Could not be easier.

People never cease to amaze. That said, the blow dryer is medium weight 2. It doesn't get as hot as some of my other blow dryers but it dries me hair well and rather quickly. This hair dryer lasted barely a year. During this time, I didn't even use it once a week. I'm so disappointed.

It worked just fine while it worked, so I'll give it one extra star. Dries my shoulder-length hair sooo fast and in combo with my T3 round brush, keeps my hair frizz free. It has taken the tediousness out of drying my hair, it's that quick. I love it. I've had it since the end of May , and so far so good. I really liked this hair dryer for the 9 months that it worked.

Recently it died and no longer works. I've seen multiple reviews saying the same thing. Absolutely not worth the price point. The other major flaw is that you cannot take the back off to clean the lint filter, which is my best guess as to why it broke. Would not recommend this dryer to a friend. This was a great hairdryer, for the 8 months it worked.

Just recently it became clogged in the lint trap and stopped working as hair dryers typically do but unfortunately this is a terribly designed hairdryer for cleaning. I had to unscrew and attempt to break open the entire dryer just to clean it. It is now completely broken and useless. Bought this and decided to use it today for the first time. It died within 5 minutes of using it for the first time.

So no clue how well it really works. Just know I won't be buy this again. Loved this dryer. Its high heat was great for styling and dried hair quickly. Its light weight, speed and heat options were a plus. Unfortunately, you can't clean the filter like other dryers without disassembling it with a screwdriver.

And, it suddenly died after just a few months. It's price point is too high for it to have such a short lifespan. Its going back for a store credit. This hair dryer is amazing! I have fine hair so having a hair dryer with a medium heat setting that also blows out high air is key for volume for me.

This hair dryer does exactly what I need it to. When I blow dry my hair upside down it's completely dry within 5 minutes which is great when I'm running late for work.
