Solitaire game with marbles

Are you allowed to go diagonally in solitaire? You win if you remove all but one of the marbles from the board, leaving the last survivor in the central hole. Continue jumping over the marbles until there is only one marble on the field. Place all 45 marbles on the board, one in each hole.
